Hi HannahIvy, You could try formatting your 64GB Card to EXFat using your computer,(Either Window's Vista or later and/or MAC OS X after Snow Leopard(10.6.5)) then putting it in your camera and see if the camera can write to it without any problems, I believe Canons can see EXFat Cards, this should get round the 12 minute time limit and give you the full 29 minutes and 59secs.
